Siddharth Chandekar-Hemant Dhome Led Jhimma 3 to Hit Cinemas Next Year, First Look Poster of the Much-Loved Drama OUT

While regional cinemas often lack the recognition they deserve, the filmmakers’ creativity and the actors’ captivating performances draw significant attention. After the successful run of Krantijyoti Vidyalay Marathi Madhyam, director Hemant Dhome and his wife, Kshitee Jog annouced their next drama in the pipeline, Jhimma 3. Slated to release on January 1, 2027, the film marks the third chapter of the much-loved and highly successful Marathi drama franchise Jhimma. 

Starring Siddharth Chandekar in the lead role, the film is bankrolled by Chalchitra Mandalee. More details about the cast, teasers, songs, and trailers are yet to be released.

Jhimma, released in 2021, was a huge hit. The Marathi drama chronicled the lives of seven women hailing from varied backgrounds. Their lives get revamped drastically after an international trip planned through a travel agency. The only male member of his family finds it difficult to deal with females in his house. Hence, he starts Sunflower Tours, and the very first trip is with seven women. The cast included Sayali Sanjeev, Suchitra Bandhekar, Sonalee Kulkarni, Kshitee Jog, and Mrinmayee Godbole in key roles.

The 2021 film grossed Rs 15.70 crore, whereas the second installment, released in 2023, minted Rs 12.60 crore gross and Rs 10.62 crore net in India. Undoubtedly, the much-loved film secured its position as the second-highest-grossing Marathi film. The sequel featured yet another massive starcast comprising Suhas Joshi, Nirmiti Sawant, Siddharth Chandekar, Kshitee Jog, Suchitra Bandekar, Sayali Sanjeev, Shivani Surve, and Rinku Rajguru.

With the third chapter, Jhimma 3 has hit the floor, fans and movie buffs wait for the cast reveal and further updates from the filmmaker Hemant Dhome. The first look poster, featuring Siddharth Chnadekar as the Tour guide of Sunflower Tours, speaks volumes about the film’s narrative, which is going to tap into the right emotions once again.
