Shatak Trailer OUT: Ajay Devgn Tells the Tale of 100-year Journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh

On February 12, 2026, the makers of Shatak dropped an intriguing trailer. Ajay Devgn’s voiceover enthralls listeners while tracing 100 years of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). His distinctive voice lends a sense of gravity and emotional touch to the story. Slated for release on February 20, Shatak offers a reflective glimpse into the organisation’s long and complex journey. 

Despite being a conventional documentary, the movie attempts to trace the human stories, ideas, and convictions that have moulded the RSS over the past century. Here is what you can expect!

Shatak Trailer Unveiled: Ajay Devgn Narrates an Unheard Story of RSS, Here’s What to Expect!

Founded on 27 September 1925 by Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh began as a small volunteer movement before gradually expanding its reach across the country. The documentary taps into the ideological influence of Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar, whose thoughts played a pivotal role in shaping its direction.

Directed by Aashish Mall and conceptualised by Anil D Agarwal, the film is bankrolled by Vir Kapur. A few weeks ago, Ajay Devgn shared the teaser of the film on X. The caption of the post read, “RSS ko sau saal poore hone par dher saari badhaaiyan! Inn sau saalon mein rashtra nirmaan mein sangh ka bada yogdaan raha hai. Iss kaam par aur roshni daalne aa rahi hai film #Shatak Yeh rahi uski pehli jhalak. Shatak ke sampurn team ko meri ore se dher saari shubhkamnaye. (Congratulations on RSS completing a hundred years! In these years, the Sangh has made a significant contribution to nation-building. The film #Shatak is coming to shed more light on this matter. Here’s its first glimpse. The organization has played a significant role in paving the way for conversations around service, unity, and cultural identity. Moreover, it attempts to shed light on the 100-year long journey. As a narrator, Ajay Devgn expressed his thoughts. He stated, “It is truly an honor for me to lend my voice to this story. This is not just the story of an organization, but the story of an idea that has stood firm through time while facing numerous challenges. Giving my voice to a narrative that speaks of resilience, faith, and collective purpose is an immensely meaningful experience.”
