Sardar 2 OTT Release Date OUT: When and When to Watch Karthy’s Spy Action Thriller?
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, “Sardar 2” achieved worldwide collections of Rs 23.85 crores. The figure includes net collections of Rs 19 crore gross in India, with Rs 4.85 crore gross collected overseas. Within less than a month of its release, the thriller will be streaming on Prime Video on Oct. 1. The makers released an announcement video on Sept. 28, featuring Karthi and Ashika Ranganath. The caption of the post read, “ATTENTION: a new mission brief is in. #Sardar2OnPrime, Oct 1st.”
The P.S. Mithran-directed sequel to 2022’s “Sardaar” follows spy Sardar’s origin story in flashback while his son, Inspector Vijay, confronts a villain known as Black Dagger in the present day.
Talking about the film’s review, it received mixed early reactions from audiences after its theatrical release. Many fans and viewers praised Karthi’s dual role, while a few criticised the film’s lengthy runtime, screenplay, and background music.
