Salman Khan Finally Addresses Feud With Arijit Singh, ‘Jo Misunderstanding Thi…’

The feud between Salman Khan and Arijit Singh is known to all. It reportedly started after an award show in 2014. However, things are now going well between the superstar and the singer. Singh even sang songs for Salman’s 2023 spy film, Tiger 3.

For the first time, Salman Khan has opened up about this rift with the National Award-winning singer, Arijit Singh. For the Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar episode, comedian Ravi Gupta made an appearance. On the show, Ravi joked about how he was nervous to meet Salman, as he resembles Arijit. Gupta’s comments left everyone in splits.

Salman finally addressed the issue that happened between him and the Binte Dil singer and took full responsibility for it. In response to Ravi Gupta’s comments, the Bigg Boss 19 host said, “Arijit aur main bahut acche dost hai. Jo misunderstanding thi, meri side se thi. Uske baad usne gaane bhi kiye mere liye. Tiger ne kiya tha, ab Galwan me kar raha hai.”

Well, it’s quite an interesting thing to note that Arijit will be singing for Salman Khan even in Galwan. Arijit has lent his voice to all the Khan superstars (Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan) in several movies.

Coming to the controversy, during the 2014 award show, Arijit Singh went up on the stage to accept his awards in casual attire and slippers. Salman, who was hosting the show, asked the singer if he was sleeping. To this, Singh responded, saying that they put him to sleep. The singer’s answer upset Salman so much that in 2016, he removed a version of the song from Sultan.

In 2016, Arijit even publicly apologised to the Sultan actor and asked him to keep the song. However, Singh’s version was never released.
