Reporting Live Trailer: What to Expect from Parineeti Chopra Investigative Thriller?

“Reporting Live” follows a determined reporter and her cameraman as they pursue a tragic incident. But in a world where ‘brown gold’ is worth killing for, the closer they get to the truth, the closer they get to danger. The trailer dives straight into the film’s high-stakes investigation, where every revelation comes with a new question and the pursuit of truth comes at a dangerous cost.

Moreover, it offers a glimpse of a world where illegal sand mining is big business, and digging too deep can come with a deadly price. After a fatal incident, an ambitious reporter, portrayed by Parineeti Chopra, and her cameraman, played by Deven Bhojani, begin asking questions that powerful people would rather leave unanswered. But the deeper they dig, the more dangerous it gets. Every answer leads to another question, and every lead brings a new threat. 

Talking about her character, Parineeti Chopra shared, “This is my second inning with Netflix this year, in the thriller genre, but with a new avatar. I was immediately drawn to the spirit of this character, someone who is curious, fearless, and unwilling to stop until she gets to the truth. And working with such a verified ensemble made the experience even more special, and I’m looking forward to the audience uncovering this story.” In a nutshell, the thriller explores the risks that can come with pursuing a story that powerful people would rather keep hidden.
