Ranveer Singh’s Zombie Thriller Pralay Is Mounted on a 300 Crore Budget? Marks the Most Ambitious Film of His Career!

Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar took the world and box office by storm. The next blockbuster in the pipeline is Pralay. Directed by Jai Mehta, the Zombie thriller is reportedly mounted on a whopping Rs 300 crore budget. The zombie flick is set against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic. It promises large-scale action and is also positioned as the actors’ most ambitious and big-budget film. 

Pralay is expected to go on floors in mid-2026. While Dhurandhar was widely reported to have made on a budget of Rs 250 to 280 crore. The zombie drama’s fancy budget reflects a clear escalation in scale and ambition.

Ranveer Singh’s film Pralay is produced on a large budget, reflecting the significant VFX demands and Singh’s creative involvement. The Dhurandhar star is involved in profit-sharing, from scripting to production. Not just that, the film is also his maiden venture under his production banner, Maa Kasam Films, making it even more special for him. 

Furthermore, Pralay is the most expensive and ambitious film of his career as it is a single-film investment to date. Dhurandhar was also mounted on a larger scale, but its two-part format splits the production costs. Considering the budget, fans are curious to know what Pralay has in store.
