Ranabaali First Look OUT: Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna Starrer to Release on THIS Date

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are the most-talked-about couples in Bollywood and Tollywood. Reportedly, the duo is getting married next month, in February, in Udaipur. Ahead of their wedding buzz, the makers of Ranabaali announced the release date of their upcoming film, Ranabaali. Slated to hit the theatres on September 11, 2026, fans and movie buffs can’t help but count the days until its grand release. 

On the occasion of Republic Day, the makers of Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film VD 14 unveiled the movie’s title as well as its release date. Roll your eyes over to know what to expect from director Rahul Sankrityan’s creation.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s ‘Ranabaali’ Release Date Revealed

This year’s Republic Day was the happiest for fans of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna as the release date of their upcoming film Ranabaali has been announced. Initially, the film was tentatively titled VD14. The film’s intense first look captivated audiences worldwide with its historic appeal. The preview showcases the brutality of British colonial rule while emphasizing the suffering caused by imperial policies and authorities. 

Starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, the film is set against a 19th-century Indian backdrop. The film is inspired by real historical events that took place between 1854 and 1878. Packed with mind-boggling visuals and intriguing narration, the first glimpse throws light on the drought and devastated regions. Moreover, it establishes a legendary hero from what is described as a “cursed land”.

In the lead role, Vijay Deverakonda portrays the fierce and commanding character of Ranabaali. He is joined by Rashmika Mandanna, who plays the role of Jayamma. Additionally, international actor Arnold Vosloo appears as the antagonist, Sir Theodore Hector. 

Ranabaali reunites Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna after the successful films Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, the movie is presented by T-Series with music being composed by renowned artist Ajay-Atul.
