Helmed by Shashanka Ghosh, the third installment of the date-night horror franchise is scheduled to arrive in cinema halls in 2027. Taking to her social media handles, the lead actress announced the commencement of the shoot in London. 

Bankrolled by Balaji Motion Pictures, the film promises to be a perfect combination of horror, romance, and comedy while taking the franchise in a new direction. Since its early development, the film has generated buzz online, leaving fans and the audience intrigued. Further details about the cast and plot are expected to be announced in the coming months. Tamannaah Bhatia’s Ragini 3 to Arrive in Cinemas in 2027

Ragini 3 has once again begun making headlines after the lead actress shared exciting news with her fans and cinephiles. Tamannaah shared the update with fans on Instagram Stories, posting a behind-the-scenes photograph holding the film’s clapperboard. 

For the unversed, the franchise began in 2011 with Ragini MMS, starring Kainaz Motivala and Rajkummar Rao. Followed by Ragini MMS 2 in 2014, featuring Sunny Leone. Later, it was expanded with the streaming series Ragini MMS: Returns, starring Karishma Sharma, Siddharth Gupta, and Riya Sen. Now that the third installment, headlined by Tamannaah Bhatia, is in the pipeline, fans can’t help but wait patiently for the makers to reveal further details. Reports initially suggested that Nora Fatehi will take up the lead role. However, she reportedly exited the project in September 2025 because of other commitments, including an international shoot in Los Angeles. Backed by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd., movie buffs are eagerly waiting for the poster, teasers, and trailers to drop.
