Priya Mani, Mohit Raina to Headline an Immigrant Indo-US Family Drama, Deets Inside!

Renowned Indian actors Priya Mani and Mohit Raina are set to share screen for an Indo-Hollywood film. Bankrolled by US-based Red Bison Productions in association with Mumbai-based Azure Entertainment, the untitled movie is penned and directed by Harsh Mahadeshwar. The family drama draws inspiration from a real-life story of an immigrant family. The narrative revolves around the family’s experiences and how they navigate through cultural identity while trying to assimilate into the US. 

According to reports, the yet-to-be-titled film was launched in 2023 under a different title and star cast. However, the film was revamped and redesigned, launching The Freelancer star Mohit Raina and The Family Man fame Priya Mani as leads.

Priya Mani, Mohit Raina to Star in a Real-Life Inspired Indo-Hollywood Film

The upcoming project is expected to follow the emotional and cultural journey of an immigrant family who navigate through a life beyond the conventional idea of the American Dream. Announcements regarding the film’s title, additional star cast, and release date will be unveiled eventually. As of now, the filming is scheduled to begin in April 2026 across locations such as New York, New Jersey, Delhi, and Jammu-Kashmir.

The National Film Award-winning actress was drawn to the family drama immediately by its emotional depth and intensity. She believed that the movie tells a resonating story that connects with audiences across borders. On the other hand, Raina shared that the storyline explores identity and belonging in a deeply honest way. 

Both production houses represent a meaningful step toward global storytelling. The awaited project marks the first-ever Indo-Hollywood collaboration, captivating a global audience. Azure Entertainment previously produced Bollywood hits, including Rocky Handsome, Badla, and Kesari. Whereas Red Bison’s credits include Bhaag Bawre Aandhi Aayi.
