The official adaptation of the 2024 Malayalam film “Premalu,” titled “Prem Keetanu,” has locked Oct. 2 as its release date. Meanwhile, the makers are leaving no stone unturned in captivating the audience and escalating their excitement ahead of its anticipated premiere. On Friday, the makers dropped their second song, “Kaho Toh,” and since then, fans can’t stop humming its melodies. 

Featuring Veer Pahariya and Aafiya Sayed in the lead roles, Armaan Malik steps in as a playback singer, while the soul-stirring lyrics are penned by Sachin Urmtosh. Take a closer look!

Prem Keetanu’s New Song Kaho Toh Unveiled

Prem Keetanu’s Kaho Toh quintessential slow-paced romantic soundtrack with the right elements to strike a chord with the audience. Choreographed by Tejaswi Shetty, the song video captures the leads’ journey from enemies to friends, with the male protagonist slowly catching feelings for the girl as they embark on a road trip. Talking about the song, Armaan Malik shared, that “Kaho Toh” is an out-and-out Bollywood romantic number. “It always gives me a lot of joy to sing songs like this because they transport you back to a time when these larger-than-life romantic songs were such an integral part of Bollywood films. I’m really happy I got the chance to return to my OG romantic roots with this one,” he further added.

Composed by Annkur R Pathak, the song also contains a Qawwali portion, sung by Altamash Faridi. Helmed by Apoorv Singh Karki, “Prem Keetanu” tells the saga of a college kid, a quintessential black sheep figure, and captures the joys and struggles of his college life, which include his romantic pursuits and dealing with potential rivals in his way. Aafiya Syed essays the role of a female lead, making her film debut.  Alongside the leads, the film also features Aparshakti Khurana and Rakesh Bedi in key roles.
