As expected, the makers of Peddi unveiled the teaser on the special occasion of Ram Charan’s 41st birthday. The Mega Power Star Ram Charan unleashes a complete beast mode in the upcoming sports actioner. Helmed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi also stars Janhvi Kapoor as the lead actress and Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar, Mirzapur star Divyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. Slated to hit the theatres on April 20, the film has created quite a buzz over social media.

The 44-second teaser released on Ram Charan’s birthday features him in a completely never-before-seen look. Taking to official social media handles, the cast and crew shared a poster of the film featuring Ram Charan to wish him on his 41st birthday.

Ram Charan’s Peddi Pehelwan Teaser OUT: What’s the First Look All About?

Presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, Peddi is nothing short of a visual treat for Ram Charan’s fans. The sneak peek dropped by the makers on March 27, showcasing the lead actor as a pehelwan’s avatar. It gave the audience a look into Ram Charan’s chiselled physique as sprints, lifts, and wrestles in the arena (akhada). The teaser kicks off with a voiceover, narrating the sport on which the film is based, wrestling. The makers also described his character as “a man shaped by strength, spirit, and sheer Will.” 

The teaser shows Ram Charan practising with a mace. The actor sports a well-toned body, and the clip makes it evident that the actor has put his heart and soul into the role. Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is an A. R. Rahman musical. The project was initially scheduled to be released on March 27, 2026, but was delayed due to incomplete production. It is now all geared up to arrive in cinemas on April 30, 2026.
