Patriot OTT Release: Where And When to Watch Mohanlal, Mammootty’s Action Film

Starring superstars Mohanlal and Mammootty, Patriot was released in the theatres on May 1, 2026. The spy thriller drama grossed Rs 79.90 crore, including Rs 43.25 crore overseas collection. Following a successful theatrical run, the film is now all set to lay its digital footprints on Zee 5 starting from June 5, 2026. 

Penned and directed by Mahesh Narayanan, the film marks the onscreen reunion of the lead actors after 18 years. Here’s what’s more!

Patriot chronicles the saga of Daniel James, essayed by Mammootty, who is a senior scientific adviser. He uncovers the misuse of a powerful spyware programme linked to a larger political and corporate conspiracy. On the other hand, Mohanlal portrays the role of Rahim, a former military man who helps Daniel in his fight against the surveillance network. 

Apart from the lead actors, spy-action drama also stars Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, Revathy, Darshana Rajendran, Geethi Sangeetha, Zarin Shihab, and Grace Antony in pivotal roles. The film garnered mixed reviews, and now, after 21 days, the makers announced its digital debut on Zee5.
