After completing its theatrical run, Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, and Rakul Preet’s Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is all geared up for its digital debut. Set to begin streaming from July 10, 2026, exclusively on Netflix, the news has sparked a buzz online. Released in theatres on May 15, the digital premiere comes exactly eight weeks later. Helmed by Mudassar Aziz, the rom-com stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles.
For the unversed, the film is a spiritual successor to the 2019 film Pati Patni Aur Woh, starring Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday. Bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar and Renu Ravi Chopra under the banner of T-Series Films and B R Studios, the film opened to mixed responses.
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do raked in Rs 59.40 crore gross and Rs 50.08 crore net in India. Talking about its overseas collection, the drama minted Rs 7.85 crore gross, bringing its total worldwide collection to Rs 67.25 crore. Now that the film is all set to arrive on Netflix, fans who missed watching it on bigger screens have got an opportunity to binge-watch the sequel from the comfort of their homes.
The film explores the themes of relationships, family dynamics, and misunderstandings within marriage. The saga chronicles the saga of Prajapati Pandey (played by Khurrana), a Prayagraj forest officer whose peaceful marriage turns chaotic after a former acquaintance asks him to assist with an issue, turning a minor favour into a mess. What appears to be a simple favour soon spirals into confusion, leading to comedy, confusion, and family drama.
