Off Campus Fame, Stephen Kalyn, to Star Besides Sydney Sweeney in Housemaid’s Secret

After the grand success of Off Campus, Stephen Kalyn is all geared up to join Sydney Sweeney, Kirsten Dunst, and Paul Anthony Kelly for the much-awaited book-to-screen adaptation, “Housemaid’s Secret.” Based on Freida McFadden’s best-selling novel, it is the Housemaid sequel, The Housemaid’s Secret. Helmed by Paul Feig, Kalyn will be essaying the role of Broc. 

Stephen Kalyn Joins the Cast of Housemaid’s Secret

The sequel kicks off right after Sweeney’s Millie was hired in the initial story as the live-in maid for a wealthy family with a dark secret. According to the film’s synopsis, “In The Housemaid’s Secret, Millie returns, taking a job keeping house for a woman she’s never allowed to see, only to discover the truth behind the locked door that threatens to expose secrets far darker than her own.”

Besides Stephen Kalyn, Kirsten Dunst plays the role of the mysterious Mrs. Garrick, with Kelly as Douglas Garrick. Brittany Snow will also star as Marybeth, an unassuming receptionist at the Mr. Garricks’ company, while Michele Morrone returns as Enzo, reprising his role from the first film.

According to Deadline, 2025’s “The Housemaid,” featuring Sweeney, Amanda Seyfried, and Brandon Sklenar, was a blockbuster, grossing $126.4 million domestically and $400.5 million worldwide. Now all eyes are on its sequel, which is scheduled to hit the silver screens on Dec. 17, 2027.
