After years of waiting, BTS is officially back with its much-anticipated ARIRANG tour. What’s even more exciting is the fact that the OTT giant Netflix livestreamed the first tour of the band. Not to be surprised, BTS The Comeback Live ARIRANG has achieved remarkable viewership on Netflix by drawing 18.4 million viewers globally. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook reunite as OT7 after nearly four years. BTS staged a major comeback with their Live ARIRANG concert held at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul. ARIRANG, the group’s new album, hit 110 million Spotify streams on its first day, doubling Harry Styles’ Kiss All The Time.

According to the streaming service’s reports, the live event attracted 18.4 million Live+1 AMA (Average Minute Audience) viewers globally, surpassing the viewership of the Oscars (17.9 million), Grammys (14.4 million), Golden Globes (8.6 million), Emmys (7.4 million), and VMAs (5.5 million). On March 24, 2026, Netflix revealed the viewership figures. The announcement that 18.4 million global viewers (Live+1) tuned in for their BANGTAN when BTS reunited LIVE onstage. The band’s major comeback also had a significant impact on social media. It generated 62 billion global social impressions across Netflix’s owned platforms. Moreover, hashtags sparked a trend worldwide from the US and Korea to Brazil, Poland, and India.

BTS The Comeback Live ARIRANG has cemented its position as the sixth most-viewed live event in Netflix’s entire history. It has preceded Jake Vs Tyson (boxing), Crawford Vs Canelo (boxing), Jake Vs Joshua (boxing), Lions Vs Vikings (NFL football), and Cowboys Vs Commanders (NFL football). As reported by FlixPatrol, BTS The Comeback Live ARIRANG has dominated daily top 10 tracking data in 92 countries, achieving the top position on its debut day in 77 countries. Not to forget, Netflix is yet to release a behind-the-scenes documentary film, titled “BTS: The Return,” on Friday, chronicling the making of the new album.
