Nayyi Navelli Teaser OUT: Yami Gautam Dhar’s Family-Entertainer Offers Humor And Fantasy With Action

The official teaser for the upcoming theatrical entertainer “Nayyi Navelli” has been unveiled, giving fans a closer look at what to expect from the fantasy drama. Starring Yami Gautam Dhar in the lead role, the film is slated to release in theatres on Oct. 16, 2026, ahead of Dussehra. Amazon MGM Studios and Colour Yellow shared the captivating glimpse, taking audiences through the wildly imaginative entertainer that blends family drama with humor, fantasy, and action.

Besides Yami, the film also boasts a stellar cast including Addinath M Kothare, Anurag Thakur, Sunita Rajwar, Mita Vashisth, Aaditya Kulshreshth, Susmita Mukherjee, Sonal Jha, Suneel Sinha, Prateek Pachori, Akshat Singh, Babita Pandey, Ajay Pal, and Neeraj Singh in pivotal roles. Nayyi Navelli Teaser Unveiled 

Helmed by Balaji Mohan and written by Himanshu Sharma and Divy Nidhi Sharma, the 1-minute-31-second teaser introduces a seemingly ordinary family until the brother-in-law makes one startling accusation: “bhabhi daayan hai” (sister-in-law is a witch). Then follows a whirlwind of eccentric moments, some unexpected characters, and bizarre situations. At the heart of the saga is Yami Gautam Dhar in a never-seen-before avatar. 

According to the synopsis, the film revolves around a picture-perfect bride who turns a chaotic Meerut household into a slice of heaven, until her brother-in-law suspects their blessing-in-disguise might just be a Daayan-in-disguise. Produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma, fans are excited for it to hit the silver screen on the festive occasion of Dussehra. For the unversed, the film will be locking horns with Rajkumar Rao’s “Prahaar” and Vijay Deverakonda’s “Ranabali” at the box office.
