Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 Hits the Rs 150 Cr Mark Worldwide in the Opening Weekend, Check its Box Office Collection So Far

Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 has been dominating the box office since its release. It hit the theatrical screens on May 21, 2026, and earned Rs 15.85 crore net through 5,506 shows, achieving an occupancy rate of 51.3 percent. As of the seventh day, the Malayalam drama has collected a net of Rs 68 lakhs from 1,122 shows. Talking about its worldwide collection, the family crime thriller is on the verge of entering the Rs. 200 crore club. 

It is safe to say that Drishyam 3 continues to wreak havoc at the box office, recording an impressive opening weekend. Here’s a closer look at its box office collections. 

Drishyam 3 Worldwide Box Office Collection 

Starring Mohanlal in the lead role, Drishyam has undoubtedly been one of the most anticipated films of the year. Over the years, the franchise has kept its audience hooked, thanks to the intriguing storyline and captivating narrative. Earlier, the lead actor too took to his social media feed announcing that the film has hit the 100 crore mark worldwide. He wrote, “Thank you for carrying this journey with us for 13 years. Your love, support, and belief in this story continue to humble us every day. #Drishyam3 running successfully in theatres near you.” Now that the third installment of 2013’s Drishyam is running globally, all eyes are on its box office collection. 

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has minted Rs 80.42 crore gross and Rs 69.28 crore net in India. Globally, it has been making a whopping sum of Rs. 142 crore gross. It has surpassed the lifetime worldwide collection of Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life, which raked in Rs 160.08 crore globally. 

Directed by Jeethu Joseph, in its first week of theatrical run, it earned Rs. 9.20 crore from Karnataka, followed by Rs. 6.60 crore from the Telugu version and Rs. 4.80 crore from Tamil Nadu. That brings a total of Rs. 63.70 crore.

On the other hand, it has received a tremendous response in the overseas market. In the first six days of its release, Drishyam 3’s overseas box office collection reportedly touched Rs 90.70 crore, taking its worldwide total to Rs 170.32 crore. As weeks pass by, the numbers are bound to increase.
