Miley Cyrus to be Honoured With Iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame Star, Here’s WHY!

Singer and popular actress Miley Cyrus will be honored with the 2,845th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on May 22nd at 11:30 am PT at 7011 Hollywood Boulevard. The star is nothing short of a major achievement in her illustrious career. 

As reported by Billboard and Variety, the ceremony will feature speeches by actress Anya Taylor-Joy and fashion designer Donatella Versace. Additionally, iHeartRadio personality Ellen K will emcee the event. Here are more details!

On May 7, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce confirmed that Miley Cyrus will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The awarding ceremony will be held on Friday, May 22, at 11:30 a.m. PT in Los Angeles. Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez stated that Cyrus’s effect on pop culture and entertainment is undeniable. She has been an inspiration for generations, starting right from her adolescence when she essayed the iconic role of Hannah Montana. Undoubtedly, fans and the global audience are motivated by the career graph, growth, and boldness. 

Producer Martinez stated, “Miley deserves her flowers as she has made a lasting impact on the entertainment industry, and we are thrilled to honor her with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Generations of young girls have grown up watching her evolve, finding inspiration in her journey and fearless creativity.” 

It is no news that Miley Cyrus is one of the rare generational artists who has carved her own path to success. For the unversed, the three-time Golden Globe nominee has achieved triumph in the music industry through hit songs such as Wrecking Ball and Flowers, which have topped the Billboard Hot 100. Not just that, the song Flowers has won her two Grammys far Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. Later, she won yet another Grammy for her track II MOST WANTED in which she collaborated with Beyoncé. All in all, she truly deserves the honor on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
