Madhuri Dixit Nene All Set to Host Kon Honar Crorepati, Marathi Version of KBC

Madhuri Dixit Nene is all geared up to host the Marathi version of “Kaun Banega Crorepati” titled “Kon Honar Crorepati: Aata Khel Badalnar.” After announcing Ajay Devgn as the host of the popular Crime show, Sony Liv dropped the promo of Marathi KBC announcing Dixit as the host. In a traditional Maharashtrian look, the actress left audiences awestruck. 

Madhuri Dixit has previously appeared on several reality shows as a judge. Last, she was spotted hosting Food Food Maha Challenge in 2011, following Kahin Na Kahin Koi Hai in 2002. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s coming soon!

Madhuri Dixit to Headline Kon Honar Crorepati, Becomes the First Female to Host the Game Show 

On Tuesday, Sony Liv unveiled the promo of “Kon Honar Crorepati”. Madhuri Dixit was seen decked up in a traditional green Paithani saree, accessorized with a Nath, bangles, necklace, and a Chandrakor Tikli. She introduced the game and herself as the host. As the clip unfolded, she said, “What has never happened before is about to happen. Conversations will light up in homes across Maharashtra. Because now, the game is about to change! I am bringing you ‘Kon Honaar Crorepati’. Coming soon.” Sharing the sneak peek on her social media handles, she wrote, “In the caption, Madhuri wrote, “Stepping into a very special new chapter as the host of ‘Kon Honar Crorepati’. I’m excited to take on this journey and bring you a game show that has always been about knowledge, dreams and possibilities. Here’s to a new beginning, a new energy, and a game that’s about to change. Coming soon on @sonymarathi & @sonylivindia #KonHonarCrorepati AataKhelBadalnar SonyMarathi SonyLIV.”

The makers are yet to announce the release date of the game show. Launched in 2013, “Kon Honar Crorepati” has been hosted by several popular faces, including Sachin Khedekar, Swapnil Joshi and Nagraj Manjule. Madhuri Dixit has clearly changed the narrative, becoming the first-ever female host of the show.
