A few days ago, Salman Khan’s Battle of Galwan was renamed Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace. Though the name was revamped, it didn’t affect the buzz. Continuing to pique audiences’ interest, the makers are not only dropping fresh posters but also releasing songs. Scheduled to arrive in theatres on April 17, the war drama stars Salman Khan and Chitrangda in lead roles. On Thursday, March 19, the makers released a new track, Chand Dekh Lena. The song exudes pure old-school romance and is winning praises from fans and movie fanatics worldwide.
Lyrics penned by Sameer Anjaan, the three-minute music video shows leads sharing intimate moments across dreamy sets. Here’s a glimpse of the freshly released song.
On the special occasion of Eid, Salman Khan released yet another romantic melody from his upcoming patriotic-actioner Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace. Composed by Himesh Reshammiya, the song is sung by Nihal Tauro and Ankona Mukherjee. Just like the previously released soulful songs “Maatrubhumi” and “Main Hoon”, this one too strikes the right chords of the human heart.
The music video shows Chitrangda’s character waiting with quiet resilience for her husband, played by Salman Khan, who returns home after serving at the border. The song highlights the silent strength of families who stand as a rock of support while their loved one safeguards the nation. Choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant, the setting and vibe of the song resonate with “Jalte Diye” from Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
Helmed by Apoorva Lakhia and bankrolled by Salma Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films, the songs exude 90s vibes worth grooving to. Now, fans need to wait until April 17 to witness the magic of the lead actors on the big screens.
