Maa Behen: Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri’s Crime Comedy Locks Release Date

Within a few days of anticipation, Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri’s crime comedy unveils its release date. The posters and Mother’s Day special preview already generated a significant buzz online. Now that the makers have unveiled the premiere date, June 4, all eyes are on the film’s narrative and theme. Looking at the crime comedy’s sneak peek, it promises to be a chaotic mix of family drama, humour, secrets, and full-on “bada kaand” energy. 

Starring Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, and Dharna Durga in the lead roles, the Netflix drama tells the story of a dysfunctional mother-daughter trio, Rekha, Jaya, and Sushma, whose lives spiral into chaos after a dead body suddenly appears in their kitchen.

Sharing the teaser for the film, Netflix wrote, “Dhak dhak ho raha hai? Tareekh note kar lo, Watch Maa Behen, out 4 June, only on Netflix! (sic).” The crime-comedy drama is about a mother (Madhuri) who, alongside her two daughters, Jaya (Triptii) and Sushma (Dharna), tries to hide a dead body they find in their kitchen. They do it faster before their neighbours find out the truth.

Helmed by Suresh Triveni, Maa Behen, also features Geetanjali Kulkarni, Arunoday Singh, and Shardul Bhardwaj alongside the leads. Backed by Abundantia Entertainment Production in association with Opening Image Films, fans are eager for the drama to drop next month.
