While some of them had a different opinion. An early reviewer wrote, “Is it immoral to swap husbands as best friends? Woman’s POV is important, but, what is it even trying to convey? Its a controversial one.” Not all four stories work equally well, but each brings something different to the table. Rating the film 4 stars out of 5, trade analyst Sumit Kadel wrote, “The performances are a major plus. Konkona Sen Sharma and Radhika Apte bring terrific chemistry, while Ali Fazal and Radhikka Madan are wonderfully convincing in their emotionally charged chapter. Aditi Rao Hydari is an absolute delight, bringing charm, innocence and mischief to her part. But Gajraj Rao is show-stealer.”
