Lust Stories 3 Release Date OUT: Netflix to Stream Emmy- Nominated Anthology THIS Month, More Deets Inside

Netflix has finally announced the premiere date for the Emmy-nominated anthology film franchise Lust, Stories 3, sparking online buzz for the right reasons. The much-acclaimed film returns with four new stories from Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra, and Vishal Bhardwaj on Sept. 18, 2026. With Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditi Rao Hydari, Radhika Madan, Sana Thampi, Vijay Varma, Abhishek Banerjee, Siddharth, Ali Fazal, and Gurfateh Pirzada as the key cast, the four emotionally rich stories will explore love, lust, relationships, and repressed desire through deeply personal, contemporary lenses.

Talking about the return of Lust Stories, the director of Original Films, Netflix, Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh shared that the stories receive their enduring appeal through their ability to reinvent. Every saga kicks off with a shared human impulse and arrives at a completely different emotional truth. Moreover, the desire opens a window into power, vulnerability, agency, compromise, and the things people struggle to say aloud. 

On the other hand, producer Ronnie Screwvala opened up, saying that every edition of Lust Stories has challenged conventions by curating a single roof for exceptional filmmakers to tell deeply human stories. As the years rolled over, the anthology has evolved, reflecting the changing nuances of relationships and the many shades of modern intimacy. Meanwhile, Ashi Dua of Flying Unicorn Entertainment shared that the ability to bring together unique creative voices while creating a shared emotional experience makes Lust Stories special. She further added that every story in this anthology is different in tone and perspective, yet they are united by their honesty and vulnerability. 

With writers like Kiran Rao, Tanaji Dasgupta, Avinash Sampath, Sumukhi Suresh, Shakun Batra, Sameeha Sabnis, Ashwathi Namboodiri, Nitesh Bhatia, Utkarshini Vashishtha and Vishal Bhardwaj, the third installment is all geared up to captivate netizens with its distinctive narrative and storyline.  All in all, the audience needs to wait until Sept 18 to find out what’s special in store for them this time.
