On Dec. 17, 2025, the trailer launch ceremony was held in the courtyard of the same school in Nagaon, Alibaug, where the movie was shot. Here’s what the trailer looks like!

The trailer of Krantijyoti Vidyalaya – Marathi Medium narrates the story of a Marathi school that is on the verge of closure. After years, the alumni reunite to prevent the shutdown of their alma mater. The reunion of the former students is heart-touching as they reminisce about their mischievous moments, friendships, teachers’ discipline, punishments, fun, chaos, and innocent memories from their school days. 

Hemant Dhome has beautifully wrapped the narrative with a heavy dose of nostalgia and struck the right chords of the audience’s emotions. The film is not only emotionally stirring but also entertaining in its own unique way. Moreover, it tackles the highly sensitive and relevant issues of native language schools in today’s times. With much grace, the movie highlights the importance of the Marathi language and Marathi education through the lens of the camera. 

Veteran actor Sachin Khedekar will be seen in the role of the school principal. Joining him is a stellar cast ensemble, comprising Amey Wagh, Siddharth Chandekar, Kshiti Jog, Kadambari Kadam, Harish Dudhade, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, and Prajakta Koli, who will be making her Marathi film debut. Additionally, actress Nirmitee Sawant is also expected to play a pivotal role in the film. Set to meet the audience in theatres on the occasion of the New Year 2026, the movie is produced by Chalchitra Mandali and Kshiti Jog, written and directed by Hemant Dhome. Viraj Gavas, Urfi Kazmi (Crazy Few Films), and Ajinkya Dhamal join hands as co-producers.
