Krantijyoti Vidyalay Marathi Madhyam is one of the hit blockbusters of 2026. Released on January 1, 2026, it minted Rs 6.14 crore at the box office. Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar brought a storm at the Hindi box office in December 2025, while on New Year’s Day, the Marathi social drama ruled the regional box office.
Starring Sachin Khedekar, Amey Wagh, Siddharth Chandekar, Prajakta Koli, and Kshitee Jog in lead roles, the film captivated the audience with its gripping narrative and thought-provoking theme. Interestingly, the film maintains a steady run in week 5, surpassing the Rs 25 crore mark.

After surging Rs 25.82 crores net, Krantijyoti Vidyalay Marathi Madhyam now aims to reach the Rs 30 crore mark. On day 36 of its release, the social drama raked in Rs 10 lakh. Directed by Hemant Dhome, the film has become the fourth-highest-grossing Marathi film in the post-COVID era. On the other hand, it emerges as Sachin Khedekar’s highest-grossing Marathi film, surpassing the records of 2009’s Me Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy. The actor has hit the milestone after 17 long years. Juna Furniture, released in 2024, had minted Rs 12.45 crore, but the latest film has clearly been a huge win.
Mounted on a budget of Rs 4 crore, in the first week, the film earned Rs 6.14 crore, followed by Rs 8.76 crore in week 2. In the third and fourth weeks, the Marathi drama collected Rs 5.59 crore and Rs 3.54 crore, respectively. Lastly, in the fifth week, the film earned Rs 1.79 crore, making the total Rs 25.82 crore.
