Koffee With Karan Season 9 Announced, Karan Johar-Hosted Talk Show to Begin Streaming from THIS Date on JioHotstar

After years of waiting, Karan Johar returns with “Koffee With Karan Season 9” for the last and final season on Oct. 14. Taking to his social media handles, the filmmaker shared an emotional clip announcing his comeback for one last time. A journey that began on Nov. 19, 2004, has reached its finale after 22 years, 161 episodes, and 8 seasons. Talking about the last season alone, it streamed from October 2023 to January 2024 on Disney+ Hotstar.

After nearly two years, Karan Johar is emotional to conclude his journey as a talk show host. Scheduled to begin streaming from Oct. 14, the fresh episodes will air exclusively on JioHotstar. Taking to Instagram, the renowned filmmaker shared an emotional video and captivated every netizen. The caption of the post read, “I think we need to talk. Over Koffee, of course. Hotstar Specials: Koffee with Karan Season 9, streaming 14th October onwards on JioHotstar.”

The video clip features Karan riding down memory lane and reminiscing about the time with his late father’s reaction to his talk show dream. Additionally, he speaks about the good old seasons, celebrity guests invited, the trolls, and the buzz around the words “nepotism” and “conjecture.” After 22 years, the host is all set to bring back the glamour, gossip, and candid conversations with the ninth and final season. 

Talking about his return as the Host and Creator of Koffee With Karan, he opened up, “There are some journeys you don’t plan to end, you simply know, somewhere deep within you, when it is time to let them go. Koffee With Karan has been an extraordinary part of my life. It has given me friendships, memories, moments of complete madness, a lot of love and, yes, its fair share of controversy!” As he looks forward to the upcoming season, he further added, “But through all of it, what has remained constant is the audience. They have laughed with us, debated us, trolled us, celebrated us and, most importantly, kept coming back for another cup. Saying goodbye is emotional, but it also feels right. This final season is my way of raising the mug one last time with gratitude, with love and with everyone who has made Koffee With Karan what it is. So, come have one last cup of Koffee with me. One last time.”

Not just Karan Johar but also fans are also emotional as the much-loved talk show “Koffee With Karan” bids adieu after over two decades of a streak. The audience now awaits the guest list for the final season, which is still under wraps.
