Kaali Kheti: Jackie Shroff, Sharad Kelkar’s Horror Drama to Hit Theatres This October

Starring Jackie Shroff, Sharad Kelkar, and Neha Sargam in the lead roles, “Kaali Kheti” is set to hit the theatres on Oct. 23. Helmed and written by Haris Imtiyaz Khan, the first-look poster of the horror drama was unveiled today.

Kaali Kheti Release Date Announced

On Sept. 29, the lead actors took to their official social media handles to unveil the poster and release date of “Kaali Kheti.” The spooky poster’s caption read, “ROSHNI BUJHNE NA DENA, KHETI JAAGNE WALI HAI. Get ready to face it on the big screen, 23rd October 2026!!!!!” 

Speaking about the film, director Khan believes that “Kaali Kheti” is about examining agriculture through the lens of horror. The story is fresh, exciting, and at the same time, deeply disturbing. He further added, “The film is mirror to society, only the reflection exists in a scary and fantastical world. Sometimes this world doesn’t make sense but always feels strangely familiar. Perhaps that is the true horror.”

Besides the leads, the film also features Virendra Saxena and Shaji Choudhary in pivotal roles. No sooner was the first-look poster out than fans were intrigue to know more details about the film. Looking at the poster, the atmosphere of the film appears to be dark, eerie, and intense with heavy shadowy tones, giving it a horror, thriller, or supernatural vibe.
