Jolly LLB 3: Akshay Kumar-Arshad Warsi starrer faces some cuts and changes, runtime revealed
We are just a few days away from the release of Jolly LLB 3. The courtroom comedy-drama stars Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi in the lead roles. The audience is excited to see both Akshay and Arshad in the same frame, considering the duo led the first two movies as solo leads. A few days before its release, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had made some changes/edits.
As per the reports, the word ‘f**k*r’ has been removed from the film, wherever it was used. The brand names of alcohol from the bottles have been blurred out. A scene of a police officer assaulting an elderly man has been altered. The CBFC also changed a certain dialogue to ‘Emergency Clause’. Some brand logos have also been blurred out.
There’s a dialogue in the second half of Jolly LLB which has reportedly been rephrased. The dialogue is now changed to this – “Janki amma ka gaon sirf ek… cheque muh pe fek ke mara.” The runtime of the film is 2 hours 27 minutes (157 minutes approx) and the CBFC has given it a U/A 16+ certificate.
Along with Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, the film also stars Amrita Rao, Huma Qureshi, Seema Biswas, Saurabh Shukla and Gajraj Rao. Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the courtroom comedy will hit theatres on September 19, 2025.
