Jailer 2 Trailer Unveiled: What to Expect?

The makers of “Jailer 2” unveiled a high-octane trailer of the sequel packed with action. Directed by Nelson, the trailer kicks off featuring Muthuvel Pandian in a relatively peaceful phase of his life. However, everyone who was familiar knew that peace would be short-lived.

As his past comes knocking, he is pulled back into a dangerous world of violence, revenge, and larger-than-life action. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth’s trademark style sets the screen ablaze. Gradually, he slips back into his old avatar, delivering the swagger, attitude, and mass moments, leaving fans hooked.

The first film chronicled Tiger’s seemingly peaceful life turning upside down after his son went missing. The sequel to the 2023 blockbuster appears to place him in a more dangerous situation. In a nutshell, the Rajinikanth-starrer promises to be a high-energy actioner fueled with Nelson’s signature dark humour and larger-than-life moments. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, “Jailer” has raked in Rs 408.50 crore gross in India and Rs 196 crore through overseas. This brought its worldwide collections to Rs 604.50 crore.
