Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 to Release During Dusserah 2026

On Thursday, July 2, the makers of Jailer 2 tease the audience through a special promotional video. The teaser shows Rajinikanth exiting a black luxury car at the start and then posing in the middle of a runway towards the end. However, the sneak peek makes fans of the Tamil superstar wait a little longer before unveiling his complete look. 

As the curtain drops, Sun Pictures announced Jailer 2’s release date as in cinemas on October 15 this year. It will be arriving in theatres just five days before the occasion of Dussehra, a hot favourite release window in India, particularly in the South.
