Jailer 2 Box Office Collection: Rajinikanth’s Actioner Surpasses Rs 400 Cr, Becomes 2026’s Highest-Grossing Tamil Film

Rajinikanth’s “Jailer 2” has set the box office on fire. Released on Oct. 15, the actioner has been captivating the audience worldwide. Positive reviews and reactions are still pouring in on social media, with many praising the film’s mass moments, gripping narrative, and larger-than-life scenes. Talking about its box office collection, the film has minted Rs 59.70 crore net by running across 16,599 shows with 55.4 percent occupancy. As of day 5, it has surpassed the Rs 400 crore gross worldwide.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, “Jailer 2” is dominating the box office. The data confirms that on Day 4, the action film collected a net of Rs 55.85 crore across 15,473 Tamil shows. Speaking about the Telugu version, another Rs 39.95 crore were added from 8,173 shows. Through the Hindi version, it earned Rs 9.50 crore from 2,234 shows, and lastly, Kannada version brought Rs 5.75 crore from 4,902 shows. 

As of Day 5, “Jailer 2” has collected a net of Rs 18.18 by currently running across 7,871 shows. This brings total India gross collections to Rs 255.70 crore. Overseas, the film collected Rs 40 crore on Day 4, taking its total worldwide gross collection to Rs 424.25 crore.
