Jailer 2 Advance Booking: Rajinikanth’s Action Comedy Mints Over Rs 55 Cr Ahead of Its Much-Awaited Release

Just one day until the much-anticipated release of Superstar Rajinikanth’s “Jailer 2,” and advance bookings have already skyrocketed. Set to hit the theatres on Oct. 15, 2027, the action comedy has minted over Rs 55 crore. According to multiple reports, “Jailer 2” is projected to gross between Rs 125 crore and Rs 140 crore worldwide on its opening day. Here’s a closer look at the film’s box office collection so far.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, “Jailer 2” has sold Rs 63.64 crore in advance bookings across 6 show dates, Rs 55.67 Cr without block seats. The film crossed $3 million in overseas pre-sales. Helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the action thriller is on its way to becoming one of Rajinikanth’s biggest hits ever. Rajinikanth’s home ground, Tamil Nadu, naturally leads the race with its contribution of Rs 10 crore for the opening day alone.
