On March 17, 2026, HRX Films, Prime Video, and Soda Films announced their collaboration for the OTT comedy feature titled Mess. This marks the second partnership of the streaming platform and the Roshan family’s production banner, after the previously announced thriller series Storm

Directed by Rajesh A. Krishna, the screenplay of Mess was developed with writer Kapil Sawant, based on an original script by American writer Paul Soter. The comedy feature is expected to chronicle a gang of robbers who break into the home of a man with OCD, only to find themselves fighting for their own survival over the course of a single night. On Tuesday afternoon, Prime Video took to their official social media handles and dropped a collage featuring the captains of HRX Film, Prime Video, and Soda Films. The caption of the post read, “Prime Video, HRX Films and Soda Films Lab are about to make a MESS. yes, you read that right. Amazon Prime Video joins forces with HRX Films and Soda Films Lab for Mess, a comedy where one man’s OCD spirals hilariously out of control. Production starts soon, stay tuned. #MessOnPrime.” 

No sooner did the production houses share the news than fans were intrigued to know what’s new in store for them. The movie promises to bring forth a refreshingly original premise and a unique set of delightful characters. Talking about the collaboration, Hrithik Roshan stated, “Storm marked the start of something special with Prime Video, and ‘Mess’ feels like a natural next step for us at HRX Films.” The world of this Mess is undoubtedly going to be a thrilling amalgamation of comedy and chaos, and unusual enough to keep one on the edge of their seats.
