“Hi” movie starring Nayanthara and Kavin in the lead roles has finally hit the theatres on the festive occasion of Raksha Bandhan. On the first day of its release, the film has opened to mixed reviews. Many of the fans and movie enthusiasts who witnessed the rom-com’s first day, first show have expressed their two cents about the film on social media. Most of them have called the film a feel-good, easy-breezy, and refreshing entertainer, whereas a few have found the first half of the film boring.

Early Twitter reactions have sparked a wave of buzz online, with netizens sharing their thoughts about the film. Whether it is the fresh pairing of Nayanthara and Kavin or the comedy and emotional moments, there are plenty of key moments viewers can’t stop talking about.

On the other hand, a fan opined, “If you’re looking out for the drawbacks, there aren’t much to mention, except for a little sluggish moments in the second half, however, the momentum is perfect for its genre. So it doesn’t look like a minus.” Another viewer said, ““#Hi – Simple and Neat Feel good movie. Fun & Good 1st half followed by emotional 2nd half, nothing felt boring or draggy. There is nothing new; its an usual family drama. Kavin & Nayan pair looks fresh and good. Overall a harmless watch.” 

Now all eyes are on the Hi’s box office collection, which is locking horns at the box office with Yash’s “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups.”
