On March 31, Ajay Devgn took to his official social media handles to announce the theatrical release of his next film in the pipeline. Titled, Happy Birthday Joshi, it is positioned as a gen-AI film. Slated to hit the silver screens on his 57th birthday, the film premieres on April 2, 2026. Billed as a cyber thriller rooted in real events, the film has already sparked a buzz online. 

The poster dropped by the Indian actor exudes not only nostalgia but also mystery with a floppy disk and archival props. Though the makers have positioned the film as AI generative, the artificial intelligence is suspected to be used for visual world-building or archival reconstruction. Nonetheless, the announcement spotlights AI experimentation in filmmaking.

Ahead of Ajay Devgn’s 57th birthday bash, the actor is making headlines for its innovation filmmaking approach.
