With just a few days left for the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special episode to be aired on Disney+ and Hulu, Miley Cyrus dropped yet another trailer. Positioned as a heavy dose of nostalgia, the freshly released trailers give us a sneak peek from a wider angle. With Call Her Daddy fame, Alex Cooper as the host, the special episode is a montage of all things Hannah Montana. Right from her most yearned closet to Miley Cyrus’ hit tracks, there’s everything in store for the audience.

Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special Trailer Is a Heavy Dose of Nostalgia

The newly released trailer for Hannah Montana’s 20th Anniversary Special is nothing short of a nostalgic display of golden memories and emotions. With a heart-warming performance by Miley Cyrus of her 2009 hit The Climb and Best of Both Worlds, the trailer has piqued audiences’ interest to the zenith. The trailer clearly shows that the special episode is not just a simple OTT premiere but a celebration of Miley Cyrus’s 20-year legacy.

Cyrus’ real-life father,  Billy Ray Cyrus, essayed the role of Hannah’s dad, Robby. He made an appearance in the trailer, and the two shared an embrace in what looks like the set or a recreation of Hannah’s iconic Malibu home. Additionally, the singer also shared an emotional moment with her mom, Tish Cyrus. She stated, “I’ve loved being Hannah and I’ve loved being Miley Cyrus, You’ve really taught me how to be who I am.”

For the unversed, Hannah Montana first premiered in 2006. The hit series ran for four seasons until 2011. The show, which followed Miley Stewart, a teenager living in Malibu, California, who doubles as the famous pop singer Hannah Montana. It even spawned a film, Hannah Montana: The Movie, which was released in theaters in April 2009 during the show’s third season. Fans now await a deeper dive into Miley Cyrus’s journey as Hannah Montana.
