78th Primetime Emmy Awards 2026 will be held at the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California. Indian audience will be able to witness the ceremony live on JioHotstar. “The Pitt” leads the drama field with 25 nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Noah Wyle. Moreover, “Hacks” is just behind it with 24 nominations, a record for a comedy series in a single year. Predictions are already rolling over the internet. 

On Wednesday, July 8, 2026, the nominations were announced by the Television Academy. The reading of the nominations was hosted by Jeff Hiller and Liza Colón-Zayas. This time the renowned leading lady, Mariska Hargitay.
