Drishyam 3 Trailer OUT: Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar’s Face-Off with Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj Gets Intense

After months of anticipation, Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay Salgaonkar in “Drishyam: The Conclusion.” Slated to hit the theatres on Oct. 2, the makers unveiled an intriguing trailer today. The lead actor’s face-off with Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj gets even more intense, while a fresh investigation surfaces with new pressures and old secrets.

Drishyam 3, aka “Drishyam: The Conclusion,” brings Vijay Salgaonkar’s saga to an end with an original plot, setting it apart from Mohanlal’s Malayalam Drishyam franchise. The investigation began in 2015, followed by 2022’s Drishyam 2. After four years, the makers are yet to spark conversation around the film’s premise. The trailer sets up a tense face-off between Ajay Devgn’s Vijay Salgaonkar and Jaideep Ahlawat’s determined police officer. “Drishyam: The Conclusion” kicks off right after the events of Drishyam 2. With a fresh mystery at its centre, Rajveer takes charge of the case and old questions begin to surface. The newly dropped glimpse opens with Tabu’s voiceover asking the question that has long surrounded Vijay Salgaonkar: what would he do next? However, the answer is known only to Vijay and God. 

The mystery and endless questions set the tone of the film, where Vijay’s next move is unpredictable yet again. As a result, the trailer mounts both suspicion and danger as the cop appears to have strong evidence. Meanwhile, a new Crime Branch officer, played by Jaideep Ahlawat, adds a layer of threat to Vijay and his family.

Helmed by Abhishek Pathak, “Drishyam: The Conclusion” is backed by Star Studio18 and Panorama Studios. Besides Devgn, the film stars Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Kamlesh Sawant, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav in pivotal roles.
