Doraemon: Castle of the Undersea Devil Box Office Collection: Anime Drama Surpasses Rs 16 Crore Mark in India
“Doraemon Castle of the Undersea Devil” hit the theatres on Oct. 2, 2026, in India in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The animated film chronicles the journey of Nobita and his friends as they embark on an undersea camping adventure using Doraemon’s futuristic gadgets. Their journey leads them to the hidden Mu Federation and a terrifying discovery: the ancient Atlantis civilization’s rogue AI, Poseidon, has activated a weapon capable of destroying Earth. On the first day, the film earned Rs 1.95 crore. After eight days of running at the box office, the film has surpassed the Rs 16 crore gross in India.

The anime film wrapped up its first week at Rs. 13.50 crore gross at the Indian box office. It has become the 2nd highest-grossing anime film of all time in India. Helmed by Tetsuo Yajima, “Doraemon: Castle Of The Undersea Devil” serves as a remake of the 1983 film Doraemon: Nobita And The Castle Of The Undersea Devil.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, as of Day 9, the 4DX Hindi version of the film is currently running across 944 shows and has collected a net of Rs 89 crore. This brings total India gross collections to Rs 16.64 crore. Here’s a closer look at the box office collection of the film so far.
