Director Atlee and Wife Priya Welcome Second Child, Announce the Arrival of Baby Girl

It’s a girl! Director Atlee and his wife Priya welcome their second child on April 20, 2026. The couple embraces parenthood once again. They took to their Instagram feed to share the happy news with fans and followers. Sharing a cartoon portrait of their son, Meer, they announced the arrival of their baby girl. The poster read “Yay! I’ve got a baby sister! We, Priya and Atlee, are blessed with a baby girl.” A few seconds later, the comment section of the post was flooded with congratulatory messages, love, joy, blessings, and warm wishes from fans and celebs, including Ananya Panday, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Huma Qureshi, Rashmika Mandanna, and more.

Director Atlee and Wife Priya Welcome Baby Girl

Taking to his Instagram account, the filmmaker Atlee announced the arrival of his daughter. He posted the cutest animated poster featuring their 3-year-old son. Alongside fans and followers, Atlee and Priya’s friends and colleagues from the South and Hindi film industries have congratulated the couple. Nonetheless, the creative and adorable social media post quickly caught everyone’s attention.

After dating for several years, Atlee and Priya got hitched on November 9, 2014. In 2023, they stepped into parenthood with Meer. On January 20, 2026, the couple announced their second pregnancy with a carousel of pictures from the latter’s maternity photoshoot. They captioned the post, “Our home is about to get even cozier with the addition of our newest member! Yes! We are pregnant again. Need all your blessings, love, and prayers. With love, Atlee, Priya, Meer, Becky, Yuki, Chocki, Coffee, and Goofy (sic).”  The new parents are yet to reveal the name of their little one. On the work front, Atlee’s Raaka with Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone is currently under production, eyeing a 2027 release.
