Dining with the Kapoors Trailer: The Bollywood’s Popular Clan Cooks Gossip, Nostalgia, Love and Laughter

The Kapoor family is one of the most renowned and respected families in the Bollywood film fraternity. Right from late Raj Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor to Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Neetu Singh, Karisma Kapoor, and more, every family member has a different fanbase. But this time, fan clubs of the superstars are going to assemble under one roof, as Netflix has announced the release of Dining with the Kapoors on November 21, 2025. It is a special documentary of the joint family who have come together for a grand lunch prepared by Armaan Jain. Not just that, the series is a celebration of Raj Kapoor’s legacy on the occasion of his 100th birth anniversary. 

While Armaan offers them a scrumptious meal, the Hindi cinema’s first family, the Kapoors, serve us nostalgia, unheard conversations, unconditional love, and what the definition of a big fat joint family looks like. Take a closer look!

It’s not the food, but the Kapoors’ conversations that have spiced up the series. Their recipe for a perfect is clearly a no-brainer. With love, laughter, and respect as their special ingredients, each member’s playful banter takes everybody down memory lane. 

For nearly a century, the Kapoors have ruled the box office and ruled the hearts of millions worldwide. To date, movie buffs and cinema lovers reminisce about the golden memories of the legendary actors Raj and Rishi Kapoor.  Director Smriti Mundhra states, “Telling a story about the importance of family and the value of legacy in this time when the pace of life is taking us away from those things feels very special. The Kapoors are not just a Bollywood dynasty, but the type of family we all want to be part of: extremely tight, fun-loving, and absolutely obsessed with food.” Having said that, Smriti expressed that wanted to capture wasn’t just their story on the surface, but that feeling of being right there at the table with them, hearing the stories, the laughter, the unfiltered moments that happen when the performance drops away.

What makes the series nothing short of a visual treat is the fantastic cast.
