Dhurandhar: The Revenge OTT Release: Not Netflix, But Watch Ranveer Singh’s Spy Thriller on THIS Platform

It is no news that Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has brought a storm at the box office since the day of its much-awaited release. The spy thriller arrived in cinemas on March 19, 2026, with paid previews on March 18. Even after weeks of its grand release, the film continues to draw audiences. Within 21 days of its release, Dhurandhar 2 has surpassed Rs 1,041 crore in India and Rs 1,653.67 crore worldwide at the box office. Now, all eyes are on its OTT release. 

Dhurandhar’s first installment is currently streaming on Netflix. While releasing the first-look poster of Dhurandhar 2, the makers indirectly confirmed the film’s OTT platform. The poster features the JioHotstar logo, hinting that Dhurandhar 2 will arrive on JioHotstar after completing its theatrical run. Bollywood’s heartthrob Ranveer Singh is currently the talk of the town for its electifying performance in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Both films broke records, created history, and hit major milestones in the history of Indian cinema. Now, eagle-eyed fans are waiting for the blockbuster to complete its theatrical run so that OTT platforms may begin streaming the film online. 

As per reports, a trade source mentioned, “Netflix wanted to buy both the instalments together at a sum of Rs. 175 crores before the release of the first part. But with immense faith in their product, Jio Studios waited for the first part release, and have secured a humongous deal of Rs. 150 crores for the second part alone. This is nearly double of what Netflix paid to acquire the first part.” Moreover, the satellite rights for the film have been acquired by Star Gold. 

On the other hand, media reports also suggest that the OTT release is strategically planned after the Indian Premier League 2026 comes to an end. Hence, the 229-minute spy thriller might lay its digital footprints in the last week of May or the first week of June 2026. The OTT release might be pushed by the streaming platform to maximize viewership and amplify its performance. Headlined by Ranveer Singh, the film boasts a stellar starcast including Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, and more in pivotal roles.
