He remains under constant observation. Meanwhile, on November 11, media reports, speculations of him being on a ventilator, and fake demise news sparked over the internet, compelling close family members to release official statements. Taking to her Instagram handle, Isha Deol wrote, “The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable & recovering. We request that everyone give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for Papa’s speedy recovery.” After refuting fake reports, she was spotted visiting the hospital. 

Moreover, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, his wife Tanya, and Dharmendra’s wife Hema Malini also clapped back at the fake news and false allegations. Their PR representative stated, “Mr Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. Kindly don’t indulge in spreading false rumours regarding his health. Request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy.”

Misinformation about the 89-year-old actor’s health was disseminated at lightning speed on Monday night. Amid a surge in media crew and fan gatherings, following rumours about veteran actor Dharmendra Deol’s health, security at the Breach Candy Hospital was tightened. To manage the heightening crowd of media crews and well-wishers, the Mumbai Police deployed additional personnel outside the hospital. Having said that, barricades were installed and public movement was restricted to ensure seamless hospital operations, visits of family members, Bollywood celebrities, and patients’ privacy. 

B-town superstars, including Govinda, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and his son Aryan Khan, visited the hospital to check on the veteran’s health and close family members.
