Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur’s much-awaited action-romance thriller is all geared up to hit the silver screen on April 10, 2026. Originally scheduled to release on March 19, the makers decided to push its release. Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha is directed by Shaneil Deo. The freshly dropped trailer gives audiences a sneak peek into the lives of two dacoits. It is a layered backstory featuring high-octane action sequences. Alongside the leads, the film boasts a stellar starcast including Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, Kamakshi Bhaskarla.

Here’s what you can expect from the action thriller that narrates a saga of love, betrayal, and crime. 

Dacoit Trailer Revealed: What to Expect? 

The trailer features two lovers, Hari (Sesh) and Juliet (Mrunal), who are planning a bright future together. An act of treachery from Juliet lands Hari in jail. He then seeks vengeance and decides to fix his life. The overall narrative seems to have a balance of crime and action to support the protagonist’s intentions. After an event sets them astray and spreads bad blood, animosity emerges between them. This raises the question of whether their reunion is for a positive reason or for revenge. Taking to their social media handles, other actors like Jr NTR, Mahesh Babu, and Vijay Deverakonda were praising the Dacoit trailer.

The action thriller film is written by lead Adivi Sesh himself. The action thriller was expected to release on December 25, 2025, but it was later pushed to March 19, 2026, and then once again postponed to April 10, 2026.
