Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha, starring Mrunal Thakur and Adivi Sesh, has created a lot of buzz right from its title announcement, teasers, and trailers. Though the makers postponed its theatrical release from March 27 to April 10, 2026, fans and movie fanatics’ interest remained unimpacted. As the action thriller approaches its much-anticipated release, promotions have intensified, and new songs have been released.

Lately, the film’s second song, Chicchubuddi, has been released. The full song launch event was held on March 28 at Mahant Digvijaynath Park, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Featuring Adivi Sesh and Jonita Gandhi, the dance number has turned out to be a chartbuster.

The energetic new song Chicchubuddi is sung by Ram Miriyala and Jonita Gandhi, while the music has been composed by Bheems Ceciroleo. Take a closer look.

Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha Second Single, Chicchubuddi, Released: Adivi Sesh, Jonita Gandhi Set the Stage on Fire

Positioned as the summer chartbuster, Dacoit’s second single, Chichubuddi is a Bheems Ceciroleo musical that will leave you grooving. With lyrics penned by Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar, the song features Adivi Sesh and Jonita Gandhi in a thick atmosphere with a laidback nighttime vibe. Directed by Shaneil Deo, the setting of the music track appears to be a hideout where lawlessness thrives.

With Jonita and Adivi Sesh at the center, the folk-based party song has hooked the audience to its groove-worthy beats. Jonita adds a dose of easy energy while Adivi Sesh’s electrifying moves set the screen ablaze. Not to forget, the dance number also involves a guest appearance by the Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh.

As the song unfolds, it culminates in a sudden police raid, adding a layer of tension to the joyful celebration. It gradually integrates with the wicked title of the thriller, emphasizing Sesh’s prisoner character negotiating with a dangerous world. All in all, the initial promos and the first song Rubaroo establishes the actor’s rugged and emotionally wounded persona, whereas Chicchubuddi contradicts it completely. Nevertheless, audience and fans will get to dive deeper into the pan-India action-romantic thriller once it arrives in cinemas on April 10, 2026.
