Daadi Ki Shaadi Box Office Collection Day 1: Kapil Sharma, Neetu Singh’s Family Drama Opens Low With Less Than Rs 1 Cr

Since the release of the first look, teaser, and trailer of Daadi Ki Shaadi, fans were eagerly waiting for Kapil Sharma, Neetu Singh, and Riddhima Kapoor’s family drama to hit the theatres. On May 8, the day finally arrived. However, the comedy drama is struggling to gain momentum at the box office. On the first day of its release, the film minted Rs 72 lakhs gross. Though the film did not clash with any other film, it opened on a low-key note. The audience now awaits the weekend to roll in so that the fresh release may perform better at the box office collection. 

Starring comedian Kapil Sharma, Neetu Kapoor, and debutant Riddhima Kapoor Sahni in the lead roles, the narrative is packed with emotional moments sprinkled with a dash of situational humour. Daadi Ki Shaadi Box Office Collection Day 1: Take a Look at the Numbers

Daadi Ki Shaadi failed to hit the Rs 1 crore mark in India on the first day of its release. The comedy drama raked in Rs 60 lakhs net and Rs 72 lakhs gross in India. Apart from the leading actors, the film also features R Sharath Kumar, Sadia Khateeb, and Yograj Singh in key roles. 

Offering a premise based on remarriage in old age, the trailer did gain traction on the day it was unveiled. Though the makers teased the audience well, the turnout at the box office was a bit on the lower side.
