CMA Awards 2025: Ella Langley, Lainey Wilson, And Riley Green Take Home Top Honors

Unforgettable performances, powerful collaborations, and a celebration of excellence across the genre, that’s Country Music Awards for you! On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, the 59th Annual Country Music Association Awards (CMA) were held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. The star-studded ceremony honors both today’s hitmakers as well as the legends who paved the way. The hosts, Lainey Wilson and Ella Langley, were hailed as the top winners, stealing the spotlight. 

Ella Langley and Riley Green bagged three winning titles, including Song of the Year, Single of the Year, and Music Video of the Year. On the other hand, Lainey Wilson followed with the biggest honors, namely Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year. The three emerged as the night’s leading winners, and we couldn’t be prouder.

The CMA Awards 2025 was a spectacular evening. The show began with Lainey Wilson’s mesmerizing, choreographed musical monologue, bringing audiences to their feet with a high-energy medley. Through her song, she honored Country favorites past and present. She gave a special tribute to the finest artists, including Chris Stapleton, Brooks and Dunn, Langley, Gretchen Wilson, Lady A, Miranda Lambert, and Shaboozey. 

Lainey Wilson’s fifth studio album, Whirlwind, earned the title of the Album of the Year, marking her second career win in the category. It is one of the American country singer’s strong, confident, and country-rooted albums. The standard album contains 14 songs, whereas the deluxe album holds 19 songs.

Ella Langley and Riley Green took home the Single of the Year, Song of the Year, and Music Video of the Year awards for their retro radio hit, You Look Like You Love Me. According to reports, the song has been a major commercial hit, reaching number one on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, number 30 on the Billboard Hot 100, and is certified 3x Platinum in the US.
