Ananya Panday and Lakshya Lalwani’s Chand Mera Dil is one of the most anticipated movies of 2026. Lately, Dharma Productions took to their official social media handles to announce a new release date. Originally slated to arrive in cinemas on April 10, the musical love saga will be hitting the silver screens more than a month later, on May 22, 2026.

Directed by Vivek Soni and backed by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, and Apoorva Mehta, the romantic drama brings a new on-screen pairing of Ananya and Lakshya. Chand Mera Dil joins a competitive summer lineup and will be locking horns with Tera Yaar Hoon Main and Bandar

Chand Mera Dil Locks New Release Date

Starring Ananya Panday and Lakshya Lalwani in the lead roles, Chand Mera Dil was slated to premiere on April 10. Since the romantic drama was clashing with Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla, the makers decided to push the release to next month. However, it will now be competing with Tera Yaar Hoon Main and Bandar. The target audiences of all three films differ. Hence, it is suspected that the box office clash won’t be a cause for concern.

As the film gears up for its promotional phase, much will depend on its music and overall appeal, making Chand Mera Dil one of the key releases to watch out for in early 2026. The film stars the lead actor in a softer, romantic avatar. Meanwhile, Ananya Panday continues to connect with audiences through emotionally driven narratives. Despite the postponement, the buzz around the movie remains unaffected. Nonetheless, fans and movie fanatics’ interest is at its peak to know what Dharma’s musical romance has in store.
