Cannes 2026: Indian Filmmaker Sandip Patel Expands SRHP Films’ Global Vision with Several Hollywood Projects

While Bollywood actresses like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Huma Qureshi, Mouni Roy, and Alia Bhatt were ruling the red carpet of the Cannes 2026 Film Festival, there were a few other heroes who were making headlines for the good. Indian filmmaker Sandip Patel represented SRHP Films in connection with the upcoming Hollywood feature Holy Father, helmed by Shravan Tiwari. 

Hailing from Augusta, Georgia, Patel graced the Cannes festival to interact with industry professionals, discuss cross-cultural cinema, and present his work to overseas markets on the global platform.

Sandip Patel’s presence at Cannes 2026 marked a step in his efforts to work across the Indian and international film fraternity. He has marked another significant milestone in his growing career. He actively represented his banner, SRHP Films, in connection with the upcoming Hollywood feature Holy Father, directed by Shravan Tiwari. The film features acclaimed actors Eric Roberts and Mary Lyrette, garnering attention among industry professionals with its international scale and cinematic presentation. 

In addition to the Holy Father, the launch ceremony of the new Hollywood film Sundown Town, directed by Shravan Tiwari, was held in the USA on May 23, 2026. The film is produced by Sandip Patel and Rita Patel and is slated for release in 2027.
