Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 5: Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan’s War Epic Storms Towards Rs 200 Crore in India

Sunny Deol starrer Border 2 has completely managed to win the audience’s hearts. The film, which released in theatres on January 23, has been doing consistently well at the box office. The film is a sequel to the 1997 blockbuster Border. Directed by Anurag Singh, along with Sunny, the film also stars Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, and others.

The Sunny Deol starrer is unstoppable and is ruling the box office with great numbers. The war epic drama is inching closer to Rs 200 crore at the box office in India. On Tuesday, day 5, the film earned Rs 19.50 crore, which is amazing considering it is a weekday. As reported by Sacnilk, the total collection of Border 2 is now Rs 196.50 crore in India.

Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty’s film had an opening of Rs 30 crore on Day 1. Since then, the movie minted great numbers on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with Rs 36.5 crore, Rs 54.5 crore, and Rs 59 crore, respectively.

With Wednesday’s numbers, the film will definitely enter the Rs 200 crore club. Considering there is no major Bollywood release happening this week, except for Mardaani 3, it would be interesting to see how the film performs. Furthermore, Border 2 has already surpassed the opening weekend collection of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, which released in December 2025.
